Important Information

1. Accommodation and catering in the city

• Accommodation in a hotel (single and double rooms with conveniences) 
• Breakfast, lunch and dinner in a cafe or restaurant
• Farewell banquet will be organized in a restaurant (live music)

2. Accommodation and catering on route

1. Accommodation in two-person tents “NORTH FACE “ and “TATONRA”
2.   Breakfast, lunch and dinner prepared on a campfire or a gas cooker (Traditional Russian food will be served.)

3. Transportation

•  Transportation in the city - by 12 or 24-seat comfortable bus
• Helicopter transportation - by MI-8 helicopter
• River rafting - by inflammable rafts SOTAR
• The guide will navigate the raft with two single-bank oars. Passengers are not required to oar. 

4. Guide Team

• The clients will be provided with services of experienced guides (5-18 - year experience of work with Russian and foreign tourists), a cook and an interpreter (when the one is needed).  

5. Safety 

• The guarantee of our tours safety is our experienced guides (highly skilled in water tourism techniques) as well as the best and reliable equipment and outfit. Large 16-foot American rafts and catarafts are used for rafting. They are made of laxatron under the latest technology. 
•   To provide safety for the tourists life vests are available on rafts. We strongly recommend our clients to wear life vests while rafting or fishing. However the decision to wear life vest or not should be taken by the tourists themselves. 
•   On routes with helicopter transportation we take satellite telephone to provide communication with the city in case of emergency and systematic communication with the helicopter company.
• We also take a rifle to provide protection for our clients, though Kamchatka brown bears very rarely behave aggressively towards people.

6. The items necessary for the tour: 

1. Individual sleeping bags, mats, waterproof backpacks or bags, toiletry, personal outfit and clothes (warm and water-proof), high boots, mosquito repellent.
2. The list of the required items will be provided for the tourists at reservation of tour.

Note: Sleeping bags, mats, waterproof bags can be hired from us, though the request should be made beforehand at reservation of the tour.

7. Important information:

To fish salmon and char in Kamchatka region is allowed only under license.

Though total amount of fish is not limited the local Recreational Fishing Rules allow only “catch and release” type of fishing. Which means that all caught fish should be cautiously taken off a hook and released into the rive alive. Only one salmon per one license is allowed to be taken as a trophy or for food. We follow the policy of wild life conservation and therefore “catch-release” type of fishing is mandatory on our tours. Only single hooks without bits are allowed.  

8. Health

• First aid kit is available on tour. And the guides are able to provide the necessary first aid.
• We do not require special physical condition from our clients, however tourists should realize that complete medical assistance cannot be provided in wildlife. Personal health is responsibility of tourists.  
• The clients should have with them medical insurance policy and accident insurance policy.

9. Miscellaneous

• Standard number of members in a group is 5 – 10. However, at the request we are ready to arrange individual tour or a tour for a small amount of people.
• To obtain invitation for visa foreign citizens 6 weeks prior to the tour must provide the following information: citizenship, full name, date of birth, passport number, passport validity period, sex.
